If you are 18 to 35 years old, then this camp is for you. Come along to be encouraged and challenged to go deeper in your relationship with Christ. Enjoy a fun weekend of Christian fellowship with Young Adults from across Qld.

SAM PETERSEN - SPEAKER

Sam Peterson will be bringing messages from God's Word during this camp. He will be speaking on how to overcome sin (Col 3:1-17).

Sam loves the Bible. Whether it be listening to others teach the Bible, teaching the Bible to others himself, reading the Bible, trying to obey the Bible, or having discussions about the Bible on long car rides - he loves it.  Sam is punching well above his weight, having married Jen 10 years ago. Together, they have a beautiful 5 year old daughter, Abby, who asks challenging theological questions on long car rides that Sam struggles to answer. As a family, they live in the rural town of Warwick, QLD, where Sam serves as an elder at Warwick Baptist Church and works as a GP in the local hospital. Sam grew up as a missionary kid in Brazil, then moved to California where he somehow managed to get a degree at the Master's University and then meet his wife. He later did med school at the University of Queensland and is currently studying at Queensland Theological College.  

MIKE DEANE - SPEAKER

Mike Dean will also be bringing messages from the Word of God to us during this camp.

Mike is the pastor of Village Avenue Community Church in Coopers Plains, Qld and is passionate about teaching, preaching and sharing God’s Word with anyone who is willing to listen and engage. Prior to taking up a more general pastoral role, Mike was involved in leading youth ministry teams and ministering to teenagers for 25 years, along with his wife Vicki, first in Sydney and then in Brisbane.

One of his greatest joys is seeing how the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ can save and transform the most unlikely of people and how that same gospel can continue to teach and shape the most mature of believers.

Mike and Vicki have been married for nearly 25 years and have 2 children in their late teenage years, Lincoln and Kelsey, along with 2 dogs, Astro and Wags. Mike enjoys, camping, cooking, gardening and hot and spicy food.

COST

$160 covers all meals and accommodation for the weekend. First meal is supper on Friday night and the camp runs through until morning tea on Monday.

ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation will be in single-sex cabins. When registering, please list those you would like to be rooming with so that cabin allocation can be more easily done. There is a limited number of cabins with double beds. Married couples can request these.

WHAT TO BRING

• Fitted single sheet. Every bed must have a fitted sheet.
• Sleeping bag or other bedding
• Pillow
• Towel and toiletries
• Bible and notepad
• Hat, Sun Screen
• Clothes
• Togs
• Anything you would like to use in your free time.

PAYMENT

You just need to pay at the time of registration. Click the Register button on this page and follow the prompts.

ARRIVAL

You are free to arrive any time from 6 p.m. on Friday 1st October. The first meal being served is supper at 9 p.m. The campsite is situated near a large number of shops so if you haven’t had dinner on the way, there are many options nearby. All other meals for the long weekend are provided.

To see our current update on COVID-19 and the measures we are taking at Campialba, please visit our COVID-19 Update Page. Just prior to camp you will be required to respond to a couple of questions to ensure you are in good health before you arrive.

Refund Policy

Please note, once you have made payment, if you cancel your booking more than 2 weeks prior to camp we can refund you the cost of camp less a $10 admin fee. Bookings cancelled within a 2 week period before camp will only receive a 50% refund. If you cancel your booking on the day of camp, unfortunately we will not be in a position to give refunds. Likewise, if you need to depart unexpectedly from camp for any reason, a refund will only be offered at the discretion of Campialba. If the event or your registration has to be cancelled due to a COVID lockdown of some sort, we will refund your fee in full without any time restrictions.
